Furthermore, Imperialism can also be understood as the begginings of a sort of ethnocrentic, athouritarian globalization. While not everyone shared universally in its benefits it’s also imporntant to note that universalization and equity were not values of the time and only gained prominance due to the mass production allowed by materialism. We would not have these values today were it not for imperialism.
