How is iFolder 3.0 different from iFolder 2.x?

iFolder 2.x is under a proprietary software license. iFolder 3 is an open source effort based upon the .net framework. Because it is built using technology from the Mono project, the iFolder 3 client is crossplatform and is available upon Windows, Mac and Linux computers. In the future we will have a comparison matrix to better answer this question.
