How is iced coffee made?

0

I used to work at a coffee shop and this is how we made it: For plain iced coffee there is actually a method of brewing coffee with cold water. Virtually how you do it is you let the cold water slowly soak into the coffee. Then you let the water remain sitting in the coffee overnight. Then in the morning you let the water drip out of the coffee. The coffee is made twice as strong so you must add fresh filtered water. Serve on the rocks and you have an iced coffee which doesn’t have the acidic aftertaste of hot brewed coffee which was let cool.
