How is IBICA organized?
The IBICA has a governing document formulated by the executive committee which will be recommended for final adoption at the gathering of national BIC leaders in July 2009. All national BIC conferences, through their duly-elected leaders (bishops, presidents, moderators, etc.,) are able to join the IBICA and vote on matters presented to it by the executive committee. In this sense, the IBICA is “owned and operated” and accountable to all national BIC conferences through the collective oversight of its church leaders. An executive committee of six members is elected by the membership and represents various international regions where the BIC is present. Currently, the officers and members are: Bishop Thuma Hamukang’andu of Zambia, president; Dr. Bijoy Roul (India), vice-president; Dr. Warren Hoffman (NA), secretary-treasurer; Bishop Danisa Ndlovu (Zimbabwe); Mr. Felix Raphael Curbelo (Cuba); and Rev.
