How is IBICA funded?
Each national church, upon joining the IBICA, is requested to provide the equivalent amount of 1% of total congregational contributions toward its national budget. We are pleased to state that to date such support has come from India, Cuba, Zambia, Zimbabwe, as well as Canada and the USA (Canadian Conference and General Conference). Additionally, the Association requires the financial support from many individual or congregational donors from across the BIC church family. All funds are held with the Brethren in Christ Foundation in Grantham, PA, where the financial staff of the General Church offices provides accounting services as a contribution to the work of the Association. Funds donated in Canada are directed to the Canadian Conference offices and are managed there until forwarded to the Association.
