How is hydropower renewable?
Hydropower is produced by taking water from dams and reservoirs and channeling its power through turbines and generators, which then converts it to usable energy called hydroelectricity. What makes hydropower renewable is that the water in the dams and reservoirs can constantly be replenished by rainfall. Also, the rivers (where dams are usually built) are constantly flowing, which adds to the continual flow of water.
