How is Hunger Fighters financed? What is the economic model?
One hundred percent of direct donations go directly to linked organizations. Currently this is a model financed by the founder and from generous donations of time and talent from volunteers in the form of the team, associates, and advisory board. The economic model calls for angel and sponsor support (for sponsor information, email sponsor@hungerfighters.com). An egrocer locator and a Hunger Fighters button are available for sites to provide value-added information to their visitors. Sponsorships are also available. Sponsors will donate a can of food or a cup for registrations on the site. Advertising space is available in daily email reminders sent to requestors. Prime space is available as individuals use the egrocer locator. A percentage of the sales from our selected service providers will go to Hunger Fighters to support the operation of the site and the building of a highly efficient, earth-friendly organization.
