How is Hiroshima marking the anniversary of August 6, 1945, the day that the atomic bomb was dropped?
On August 6th, 1945 the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. It’s impossible to know if anyone affected by the dropping of that bomb could ever imagine that the anniversary would become a time to contemplate peace.
