How is Higher Grounds Coffee Shop connected to Life Church and is it open to the public?
Similar in nature to a daycare center which many churches operate, this full service restaurant is a ministry of our church yet operates as a separate business entity. Its dual role provides a special amenity for Life Church congregants while inviting people onto our property who otherwise wouldn’t come. Many who stopped by for cappuccino now regularly attend worship services. Yes, it is open to the public and offers a range of sandwiches and other lunch menu items along with lattes, smoothies and even plain coffee. It is a favorite hangout place between services on Sundays and before Wednesday evening classes.
