How is Healthy Kids Mendocino funded?
About 80% of the uninsured children in Mendocino County are eligible for no- or low-cost insurance programs paid for by federal and state funds. Since tax money is already going to these programs, it is a top priority of Healthy Kids Mendocino to make sure that children eligible for publicly funded programs are enrolled and are using their coverage to benefit their health.
