The HANDLE.NET software has a public license, similar to an open source license, in order to enable broader use of the technology. During the development phase of the software, most use of the software was restricted to education, research and experimental purposes. The HANDLE.NET software has a public license, similar to an open source license, in order to enable broader use of the technology. During the development phase of the software, most use of the software was restricted to education, research and experimental purposes, and for R&D using a given prefix. If you are using handle software made available under the earlier license, are no longer using the Handle System exclusively for such purposes, or if your planned use of the system will change, then you should enter into the new license agreement.
