How is H2S oxidized by the Vortex Flow method?
The Vortex Flow InsertTM assembly forces air into the wastewater by using the falling flow’s energy. This process of aeration delivers oxygen to bond with the dissolved sulfides. Also, the process converts the H2S into dissolved H2SO4 that remains dissolved in low concentrations. Without in-flow oxidation, H2S molecules can become airborne and condense on pipe ceilings and infrastructure as highly concentrated acid.
