How is GPS different from what VALIC financial advisors already provide to my employees?
GPS is a highly structured program of wealth forecasting using Monte Carlo simulation, asset allocation and investment selection, and ongoing management of the assets in the account. Until now, we have provided only investment guidance and education, except as otherwise permitted under applicable law. With the exception of investment advice, however, you should not see a change in the services that your VALIC financial advisors provide – they will continue to provide enrollment assistance, meetings and seminars, and extensive one-on-one assistance.
