The Contra Costa County GIS program is a cooperative effort that is jointly funded by many departments. The department heads from each of the member departments make up the GIS Policy Committee. Current members are: Agriculture Department, County Assessor, Building Inspection Department, County Administrator’s Office, Community Development Department, County Clerk-Recorder, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, County Sheriff-Coroner, Health Services Department, Office of the Clerk-Recorder and the Department of Information Technology.
