A. Students must complete three exams and an internal assessment. Each component is worth 25%. At Foundation Tier, the exams last for 1 hour 30 minutes and consist of 12 – 15 short answer questions and 3 structured questions. At Higher Tier, the exams last for 1 hour 45 minutes and consist of 8 short answer questions and 4 structured questions.
