How is FUEL different than Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) and other events?
FUEL 2008 is an event specifically focused on helping students completely surrender everything to God. There will be great speakers and worship at FUEL 2008, but it will be much more intense and focused than NYC. All of the FUEL 2008 events will be smaller in scope than NYC as well, with smaller venues,a shorter event and a different focus. FUEL 2008 will focus not only on helping students hear about holiness, but will give them opportunities to experience and participate in it. By the end of FUEL 2008, students will be actively shaping the services and activities, making the event look like them and reflecting their experiences in encountering God! In addition, there are no other national or regional events focused on holiness like FUEL 2008. Our Nazarene story is consumed by people whose lives were changed and who God used to change the world because of their decision to surrender EVERYTHING to Him.
