How is freesat different from Freeview?
freesat is a digital satellite TV service, whereas Freeview is delivered through your aerial. Unlike Freeview, freesat is broadcast via satellite so it has clear reception across the whole of the UK and has the capacity for many more channels. freesat offers over 140 channels including many of the Freeview favourites, but additionally offers On Demand services such as BBC iPlayer, with ITV Player coming soon.
