How is FolkArt HD paint different from oil and water-soluble oil paints?

Traditional oil paints contain toxic, strong-smelling solvents that are not environmentally-friendly. Solvents, such as turpentine, are required to clean brushes and palettes when oil paint is used. Water-soluble oil paints contain a smaller amount of solids, and therefore do not build or layer as well. Water-soluble oils are more difficult to brush out, may be sticky, may yellow, and contain toxic chemicals to help the paint dry.
