How is financial aid credited to my Southeast account?
Financial aid is credited to your account as follows: • Scholarships and grants appear on the statement of account as a credit if all application requirements have been met. • Federal Perkins Loans appear on the statement as a credit after you have signed the promissory note. • Federal Stafford Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized) appear on the statement as a credit after the loan has been “guaranteed” by the lending institution. The amount of the credit will be adjusted from the amount requested by loan processing fees. • Federal PLUS Loans appear on the statement as a credit after the loan has been “guaranteed” by the lending institution.
