FDC is committed to repealing unjust laws. How do you address the issue of regional imbalances? The answer to regional imbalances is to establish a policy framework that recognizes existing imbalances and then to build systems and institutions that address those imbalances. The focus will be on the rules and how to implement them. What is FDC’s policy on E.A. federation? FDC supports people driven integration not the accelerated government driven program that the NRM government is trying to promote. The FDC website has information on our policy on the E.A. federation. Overall though, President Museveni is an obstacle to federation because Tanzanians and Kenyans have been able to change leaders peacefully and they are worried about Uganda’s failure to do so.
