How is Extended Math work graded?
Extended Math work is graded similarly to Regular Math work. Students are typically assigned a few extra homework problems each night. These are considered part of their required homework. If a student who is required to do the Extended Math work does not complete it, he/she will lose credit for that part of the homework, just as any student would lose credit if they did not complete the homework assignment. Tests and quizzes typically contain an extra section for Extended students. As with homework, this is considered part of the test for Extended Math students. Their performance on the Extended questions is factored in to their test/quiz grade.
