EtherLockID is an asset tracking tag that provides a permanent physical reference for each asset, regardless of power state or communication capability of the asset. The MAC address identifies a specific, non-permanent (serviceable) component of the asset, and this address can only be read/discovered by complex tools while the asset is on and communicating.
