How is ElectroFlowTM compared with surge suppressor devices?
The typical surge suppressor is usually designed for high magnitude surges or a surge above normal voltage sine wave; their resistance decreases as the voltage increases. Depending on the magnitude of the surge, it can destroy these devices because of excess magnitude over their rating and massive heat that is generated for each clamping. It is difficult to detect component failure within these devices. ElectroFlowTM can recognize smaller surges, transients and sags as well as large ones, and treat them without generating massive heat, with accessible monitoring and a self-diagnostic feature to detect component failures.
