How is electric energy harvested or produced for electric vehicles?
For purely electric vehicles there is a bank of batteries in the vehicle which drives a motor and hence the car. As the battery power goes down w have to charge it. Like any rechargeable batteries we can charge it from our domestic electric source. We have the check the volts of the battery and make sure the charger used matches this battery voltage. Power for the socket as should know comes from your electricity supplier which might becoming from burning fossil fuel or nuclear energy or hydroelectric energy. This is the basic and there can be variation in the form of public transport or electric trains taking power directly from the electric lines.
