Minister: We do encourage each other, we do interact with each other and we are doing heath awareness programs. We are organizing health awareness programs in different schools and colleges. Minister: You will be glad to hear that the highest rate of Pakistan was 3.66% in 1960 in the world. In the Last 40 yrs now we are 2.2 or 2.4%. Our target is the rate of 1.9 in 2003. In1960 the average no of children of one woman was 6 now it is 4. We have achieved a lot. KalPoint: What were the major problems you faced when u joined the ministry? Minister: Two things, the different phases of work. The work in civil is too slow compared to the Army. The trend is that there is no output.
