Regular telephone service operates through a copper based or fiber-optic telephone network, whereas VoIP operates through the internet. VoIP offers more choices and features at a lower cost than a regular phone line. You must have a broadband connection (Cable, DSL or High Speed Wireless Internet) to use ECG Internet Phone service.
