How is EarlyCDT–Lung different than other tests?
The goal of this test is to aid in the risk assessment and early detection of lung cancer. Presently, most lung cancer cases are detected once symptoms appear and when the disease has progressed. EarlyCDT–Lungmeasures a panel of autoantibodies that have been associated with the presence of cancer. When used in conjunction with diagnostic imaging, detection of these autoantibodies may aid in detecting a tumor early.
