How is Dragon Warrior 3 for Game Boy Color different from the original Dragon Warrior 3 for the NES?
This version will be based on the Super Famicom remix of Dragon Quest 3, which was only released in Japan. • Day, night, dawn, and dusk affect the game such as what monsters attack and what people say in town. • There is a board game called the Sugoroku Mini Game. You play by collecting golden tickets (gained from fighting monsters). For completing the game you gain a small medal. You spend small medals at the Small Medal Shrine for goodies. • There is a quiz at the beginning of the game called the Seikaku System which creates a personality for the hero. The hero’s personality determines the hero’s ability statistics (and possibly how people talk to you). Taking the quiz involves answering questions about yourself and playing mini games. • There is a tremendously difficult bonus dungeon at the end of the game where a monster resembling Baramos (roughly translated into Baramos Evil) who is a mere random monster encounter.
