Dragon Warrior 3 was originally released in the US in 1988. In Dragon Warrior 3 there are 1-4 party members. One is the hero and the other 3 you can make. Their classes are one of the following: fighter (martial artist), soldier, pilgrim (priest), merchant (dealer), wizard, goof-off, or thief. Later in the game one of your buddies can become a sage (warrior/wizard/pilgrim). The world of Dragon Warrior 3 is huge. You walk by foot, sail, and fly for transportation. It is your job to save the world from an incredibly powerful enemy. In Dragon Warrior 3 you may not capture monsters. The first Dragon Warrior game that had monsters help you was Dragon Warrior 4. The first Dragon Warrior game to allow you to capture monsters was Dragon Warrior 5.
