How is Dr. Francis Collins an Evangelical Christian if he says there were humans before Adam and Eve?
Never heard of him but he is partly correct when he says humans existed before Adam and Eve. However Adam and Eve were not descended from anyone they were formed as it is written. There were people living on Earth created on the sixth day. These were the ethnic peoples. Adam and Eve were the beginning of the Adamic family through which Christ was to be born.
