How is domestic territory of a country different from its political frontiers?
Answer Thank you for your query. Am not sure what you mean. However, I would venture to respond in this manner: Before we established political borders, there were borders resulting from ethnic groups or tribes having settled in a certain area and demarcating the territory of influence. When external forces came, e.g. new settlers from other lands, e.g. the conquistadores, the English settling in Virginia, the empires dividing Africa, etc., new borders resulted and in some cases, the area occupied by a certain group ended up divided because of the new settlers. Another example is Divided Germany as a consequence of WW II. Hope this helps. Good luck.
