How is DocuComm different from ERP systems?
Typically, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems are designed to track, and run all areas of your company ‘modules’ for proposals, sales orders, requisitions, time and attendance, travel and entertainment reporting, updates to human resource system, position requisitions, wage and salary changes, etc. Although DocuComm can be expanded to encompass many of the modules that exist in many ERP systems it is not as broad in scope as an ERP system. DocuComm is a product focused on strengthening the areas of your organization that leave you most vulnerable to losing money and reputation. Those areas are the specific communications between you and your customer required to improve work-flow efficiency, routings, controls and approvals.
