How is diversity viewed at Terex?
Diversity and inclusion is one of eight key strategic initiatives for Terex because, as a multinational company, we believe diversity is a proven business strategy that will help us achieve our vision of being a world-class organization. Approximately 66 percent of our revenues are generated outside of the U.S. and Canada, and 61 percent of our team members, or employees, are non-U.S. individuals. A company that has a global workforce and two-thirds of its revenues being generated outside North America is going to have a hard time if it cant embrace and manage diversity. So we feel strongly that diversity is mandatory if we are to drive shareholder value and ensure success in a global environment.
