How is data moved from one Astra database to another?
The easiest way to move data from one database to another is: Run a backup of current Astra data. Stop and uninstall the Astra web and Windows services using the service interface tools. Redirect the services to the new database by changing the configuration under the File menu in the service interface tool. Re-install and start services (not DataWatch until the data is restored). Log into DataMain.exe as INITIMP/CRAM and restore from the backup file previously created.
