How is Danforth a contrasting character to Judge Hathorne?
In my 20+ years in Toronto I have lived in Cabbagetown (Parliament & Gerrard), Landsdowne & Dupont, St Clair and Bathurst, Wilson and Bathurst (North York) and for the last 5 years at Bloor and Spadina, it is a matter of being careful no matter where you live in the city, like on the buses or subway your just have to keep your eyes open, and as for Parkdale, if your a person who is in or looks for trouble or associates with the lower forms of life in the neighbourhood then it can be dangerous, but then any area would be if you in the wrong crowd, Broadview and Danforth is a nice area, I had a friend he past away 10 years ago and he was there for 25 years, never complained, your at the tip of the Greek district, but further up Danforth you have Asian and African influences now, your close to the subway and the 2 streetcars that come to the station can take you on to King or College St lines if you like.
