How is Cornells alumni network abroad?
It’s good. Every spring, we hold an alumni symposium in Europe. The Career Management Center’s international student adviser travels to Europe annually to visit alumni and employers. She coordinates a mentoring program, linking about 40 international and domestic students with alumni in Europe. We’re about to start a similar [mentoring] project in Asia. Q: Just less than half of the class found jobs in finance or economics in 2002, with an additional 17% pursuing jobs in marketing. Is it safe to say that these figures reflect Cornell’s strengths?
