I think container based moving can be similar to renting a truck depending on how the service is going to work for you. The fact that the container can be portable might help you a bit more though since you can direct where you need the storage container to be instead of having to ship your items to a stationary location. It’ll give your moving plans a lot more flexibility and you are able to get yourself more organized when it comes to getting your items to the storage unit because you can load up in the comfort of your own home
Container based moving and storage companies bring the container to you unlike the process of renting a truck. When you rent a truck you have to reserve the truck, drive to the location (and find someone to take you so they can drive the car back), rent the truck and then drive it home. And then you have to do that all again when returning the truck.
