IE4 adheres closely to a standard called ECMAScript, which is essentially the core JavaScript 1.1 language. This does not cover the document object model (another standard being studied). Navigator 3 document objects not supported in IE4 are: FileUpload navigator.mimeTypes[] navigator.plugins[] The JScript.dll shipping with IE4 is version 3.
