How is Coca-Cola encouraging active healthy, lifestyles through its sponsorship of the Olympic Games?

0

Coca-Cola has a long history of supporting active lifestyles in the UK. Powerade’s ‘Take to the Streets’ initiative provides support to a range of events including the Great North Run. In keeping with the London 2012 legacy vision to help get Britain active, Schweppes Abbey Well – Coca-Cola’s bottled mineral water and the official water of the Olympic Games – has a year-round on-pack promotion offering free swimming. We offer consumers a wide choice of drinks in different pack sizes, and also provide front of pack labelling so they can make an informed decision on what drinks are best for them and their families. We know from previous summer Olympic Games that about two thirds of drinks consumed by visitors will be water or juice. We will therefore be providing a wide variety of drinks including still, sparkling, low and no sugar drinks, 100% juice, water, sports and energy drinks to the millions of spectators visiting the Olympic Park.
