For download content that is stored on a consumer client device, the ClearPlay feature application must be integrated to the client hardware. For streamed content, that is not stored on a consumer client device, the ClearPlay feature application must be integrated in the content provider’s video server. In this case, there is no modification necessary to the consumer client device.
