How is Chris gaines involved in wright city district to reimburse students for ACT exam?
Every Wright City High School senior will be reimbursed by the school district this year for the cost of taking the ACT, a college entrance exam. The district will use the money that once paid for every sophomore to take the PLAN, a college-readiness test, on the $32 ACT exam. Sophomores will no longer be given the PLAN test for free. District officials hope offering the test for free will encourage more seniors to take the ACT. The district’s score on the ACT exam is one of 14 standards on which the district is judged by the state for their Annual Performance Record.
