How is Child Wise accountable?
We ensure our activities are accountable in a number of ways. Child Wise is a signatory to the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) Code of Conduct which defines minimum standards of governance, management and accountability for non-government organisations. As a signatory we demonstrate our commitment to ethical practice and public accountability. Child Wise is an Australian Company Limited by Guarantee. As such we are required to comply with all relevant Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) guidelines. Our independent Board of Directors meets quarterly to review operations, finances and ensure Child Wise is meeting its strategic goals.
