How is Charter Internet in Knoxville (Farragut)?

I’m moving to Farragut (West Knoxville) and I’m debating whether I should move my current AT&T DSL there or switch to Charter cable Internet. AT&T has been great: Very reliable, pretty much consistently exceeding the promised 6 Mbps down, 0.5 Mbps up. However, Charter offers 10 Mbit down, 2 Mbit up, which would be a nice upgrade. On the other hand, I understand they don’t have the best reputation, and with cable you’re less likely to get the promised speed. I would love to hear some firsthand experiences! Thanks!!
