How is CEI Structured?
CEI is structured like most non-profit organizations: There is a volunteer Board of Directors which is responsible for overall policy and direction of the organization. The Board delegates responsibility for day-to-day operations to the organization’s Executive Director and his or her staff. The Board adopts a yearly budget, oversees the organization’s finances, conducts fund-raising and marketing activities and special projects, and determines the conditions of employment of the Executive Director.
