How Is CDMA In Mobile Techonology Different From CDMA In Computer Networking?
CDMA is basically a versatile technology. It remains the same, irrespective of whether it is used in mobile phone technology or in computer networking. It is a versatile technology which has many applications. CDMA is the acronym for code division multiple access. The term CDMA, or code division multiple access, is defined as the technology which is used for the digital transmission of radio signals. These radio signals could be, for example, between a mobile telephone which supports CDMA technology and the base station for radio. In CDMA technology, a frequency is divided into a number of codes. CDMA is a spread spectrum approach to digital transmission. With CDMA technology, each of the conversations is digitalised and then tagged with a code. CDMA is also known as IS-95A or cdmaOne. It refers to a multiple-access scheme in which stations use spread-spectrum modulations and orthogonal codes to avoid interfering with one another.
