Berkshire County is very fortunate to be host to an evaluation study that represents the first truly comprehensive and in-depth examination of the impacts of 1:1 computing on the education process. The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative has selected Boston College’s Technology and Assessment Study Collaborative, housed in the Lynch School of Education, to conduct a three-year evaluation of BWLI. The study is measuring how successfully the program has achieved its goals. Some of the methods that are being used in the evaluation study are teacher and student surveys, classroom observations, student drawings, teacher interviews, and analysis of school tracking data and assessments.
