A2: Arguably, some would say that there are differences, however subtle, between organizational and business ethics for instance, but for simplicity these are taken to be synonymous within the context of this site. Business ethics may be seen as a form of ‘applied’ ethics (much like legal or medical ethics, or bioethics). Likewise, there exist several forms of ‘professional’ ethics, typically reflected within Codes of Conduct or Behaviour for the respective professions. The absence of a generally accepted definition (see Q1 above) for business ethics may explain some of this confusion.
