How is BurdaStyle different from burda style magazine?
BurdaStyle.com is a subsidiary of Verlag Aenne Burda, which also owns burda style magazine. While we are under the same umbrella, BurdaStyle.com (launched in 2007) and burda style magazine (which was Burda Modemagazine and renamed “burda style magazine” in 2009) are two different companies. We have separate concepts and teams, yet both offer sewing patterns produced by Burda. BurdaStyle.com was launched as a pilot project to target a new audience in a new market and includes many social features and a different kind of look and feel.
