How is BOM – ATL direct delta flight?
This is pulled off not just by any 777, but more specifically, the 777-200LR, the “LR” standing for Long Range. The regular 777-200 has a range of about 5,235 miles, whereas the 2006-introduced LR version’s range reaches 9,450 miles. ATL-BOM is 7,395 miles, so the plane can manage it. Extra fuel tanks, more powerful/efficient engines, raked wingtips and other technologies allow this significant increase in possible distance. Delta has made great advances in their inflight entertainment and service. This aircraft is among their newer planes, and though I do not know details, you can almost surely expect inflight TVs with movies and games, and food service that will impress you.
