How is Bittree affected by the RoHS directive?
Among other categories, the RoHS directive covers IT and telecommunications equipment installed in the European Union. Since patchbays play an important role IT and telecommunications infrastructures, Bittree needs to provide RoHS compliant components and finished goods for installation in the EU. As such, Bittree must declare its components meant for the EU to be in compliance with the RoHS directive as of July 1st, 2006.
